Adventure Camp (Session 1, 2, 3, & 4)

Adventure Camp is about getting outside, being active, connecting with new friends and making amazing memories.  The friendships cultivated at summer camp last a lifetime and often bring out the best in everyone.  Adventure Camp starts the moment the boat leaves the dock, with seals, orcas, herons, and eagles putting on an amazing show of nature during the 30 minute scenic trip.  At camp, campers will learn new outdoor survival skills, reach new heights on the ropes course, feel the exhilaration on the zip line, hit the target on the archery range, enjoy the serene beauty while paddling on canoes, kayaks or paddle boards, feel the sense of accomplishment when hiking to first lake or getting up on water skis for the first time!  Camp Latona has been making memories for 60 years, using the challenge by choice philosophy, trying new activities with campers setting their own individual goals.

Adventure Camp is a great way for campers to try something new!  Campers are unplugged during their time at camp, connecting with others in person forming new bonds and overcoming new challenges.  A camp favourite is always the out trip when campers will set up their own campsite for the night and learn to cook their meals and build a fire.

Summer Camp is a chance for campers to be themselves, develop teamwork, responsibility, leadership and learn how to have fun and make it fun no matter the situation!
