The fun of Family Camp starts the moment you step onto the boat! The scenic 30-minute trip to Camp Latona is all part of the experience, with beautiful views of Howe Sound and the chance to spot seals, eagles, herons, and maybe even an orca along the way.

Once you arrive at camp, it’s all about spending time together, meeting new families, reconnecting with old friends, and enjoying everything Latona has to offer. Families will have the chance to try a variety of activities throughout the weekend, including the vertical playground, archery, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, swimming, water skiing, kneeboarding, hiking, low ropes, field games, survival skills, nine square, and more.

Of course, there are a few Family Camp traditions we always look forward to! The parent waterski is a favourite, along with the Family Camp Dance and ending the day together around the campfire.

And we can't forget about the food! Meals are an important part of the Family Camp experience, with everyone gathering together in the Mess Hall to enjoy homemade favourites, including fresh-baked bread, cinnamon buns, and, of course, CrabFest!

Family Camp is a chance to slow down, spend time together, try something new, and enjoy a weekend away in one of the most beautiful places in Howe Sound. Whether you've been coming to Latona for years or this will be your family's first visit, we're excited to welcome you to camp!
